A Few "What-If" Pictures of Yosemite in the Style of Non-Landscape Painters
AI-Generated "Educated Guesses" Of What They Would Have Painted
AI & I generated around 20 images of paintings of Yosemite by artists usually known for their portraiture (as well as a few supposedly in the style of comic book illustrators, a fictional character, and the paint-splasher Jackson Pollock), so these are “wild guesses,” you might say, but in some instances you can see the stylistic connection. I am only supplying the more interesting ones, as a lot of them look pretty much the same and were “painted” from the same general location in Yosemite Valley. The one that tripped up the robots, I think, was the “Berenstain Bears” — it simply added Bears to the images.
Andy Warhol
Dr. Seuss
Jack Kirby
Jackson Pollock
Margaret Keane
Michelangelo
Napoleon Dynamite (the AI robots were apparently stumped, as this is nothing like Napoleon’s style)
Norman Rockwell
Pablo Picasso
Peter Max
Rembrandt von Rijn
Roy Lichtenstein
Salvador Dali
The Berenstain Bears
Truman “True” Williams — illustrator of many of Mark Twain’s books
Another presumably in True Williams’ style.
And finally, here are a few “encores” in the style of Roy Lichtenstein
