I got an idea for a short book the other day. Figuring it wouldn’t take me long to complete, I borrowed time from more important projects so that I could quickly finish it and shoo it out of my mind.
It is sort of a children’s book. It’s an alphabet picture book of animals (using free images from wikimedia commons and unsplash), coupled with listings of collective nouns of animals (such as a barrel of monkeys, a flamboyance of flamingos, a lounge of lizards, a knot of toads, and even an intrusion of cockroaches), a picture of one animal for each letter of the alphabet, and a Haiku poem dedicated to that critter.
