GREEN BAY PACKERS 2021: GAME #10
Vs. Sea-addled Seahoax; Sunday, November 14th, 3:25 Packer (Central) Time
It’s hard to make a prediction, as I don’t know whether Rodgers will be back at QB or it will be Love again. Then again, if its’ Rodgers, he could be a little rusty, and if it’s Love he may be at least a little better than he was today (Sunday, 11/7), as he seemed to be getting better late in the game. Either way, the Packers have the advantage of playing at Lambeau.
If Kenny Clark is out, it will make things tougher, too.
My prediction is Packers 23-21.

Another head-scratching failure by the packers writers to understand what their readers are asking was posted today on packers.com:
The big questions I have today are:
1) Why didn’t McFlurry wear down the Chefs with more runs by Aaron LoveJones and AJ “Not Bob” Dillon (also thereby slowing down the pass rush)?
2) What in tarnation is going on with the field goal operation? Are the snaps off? Is Bojo failing to spin the ball either out of a lack of awareness that it needs to be done or a lack of ability? Is Bing finally losing it? Why can’t the Packers get the interior rushers blocked? Or is it some combination of two or three or all four of those?
The offense was doing better by the end of the game (Green Bay outscored the Chiefs 7-0 in the second half), the defense is splendiferous, but special teams (outside of the punting) calls forth memories of the Keystone Cops.
3) Related to #2 above: How many calls will Gutekunst get today from agents of Long Snappers? Or maybe even kickers? After all, Bojo has been doing fine all season. The problem apparently lies elsewhere, unless it’s just a matter of Bigleg and the LS getting on the proverbial “same page.”

Nitpicky, I know, but the circled comma (from today’s Insiders Inbox on packers.com) should be a semicolon:
Thursday, 11/11/21
Again, the writer at packers.com didn’t answer the question:
You could infer that “it happens every week” hints at it being a rule prior to this year, but is not at all explicit about it. A simple “yes” or “no” to begin the answer would have worked wonders (which, it is claimed, never cease, but I’m beginning to have my doubts in this particular case).
Sunday/Game day
Another failed field goal; the ball was definitely spun, but it may have still been moving when Bing booted it. Was that the problem?
. . .
Final score: 17-0. There is no team I enjoy the Packers beating more than the Sea-Hoax; the Vikings are close behind.
The cat who threw the shoe should have to go fetch it, or be ejected (in addition to the 15 yard penalty for the jerklike conduct).
For his lowlife behavior on the field, Metcalf should be made to stay in Green Bay and wash grimy pots and pans with the giant S.O.S. pad he keeps on his head for the next few days.
Great win against an unworthy opponent (I’m referring to their conduct, not their skill).
The negatives of the game are the injuries to LoveJones, Rushin’ Gary, and Whitney Houston Merciless. The first two, at least, seem like they could be season-ending. I don’t know how many more injuries to key players the Packers can withstand. They’ve already lost Z, Alexander the Great, Big Bob Tonyan, Myers, etc. (and still waiting for the return of Beertiari). Hopefully they can get at least most of those cats back prior to the start of the postseason.
Since the Cardinals lost today, and the Packers beat them head-to-head a couple of weeks ago, the Packers are now the top seed in the NFC. Will this be the high-water mark for this season, though?
Only time will tell.
