GREEN BAY PACKERS 2021: GAME #14
Vs. Baltimore Poebirds in Orioleville; Sunday, December 19th, 3:20 Packer (Central) Time
Sunday, 12/12/21
Packers are 10-3. If the Ramjets can beat the Redbirds tomorrow night, Packers will be the top seed in the NFC on the strength of their victory over the Redbirds earlier in the year.
Packers 24, Poebirds 21 is my prediction for the next game.

I wonder if the Packers will at least bring in a Special Teams consultant/guru.
The offense and defense are both so good, whereas the Special Teams are Pop-Warneresque.
It’s like having a beginning drummer sit in with the Beatles, or Deep Purple. The contrast in skill is jarring.

In comments indicating the problem is more with the coached than the coaching, McFlurry said today that some of the offensive and defensive players may be asked to step up and play one of the Special Teams units, of which there are five:
Punts
Kickoffs
Extra point/Field goal attempts
Punt returns
Kickoff returns

The Packers are now in 1st place, with the Redbirds losing to the Ramjets.
The Packers have 10 victories, whereas the other three teams in the NFC North have a combined 11. The Packers have three losses, whereas those three teams have amassed 27 losses and a tie. They OWN the division.
Toegate continues, Special Teams also bears watching.

The Packers will be thin at Receiver tomorrow: MVS, ESB, and Malik Taylor are all out. Since Cobb is still out, that leaves Davante, The Goon, and … Amari Rodgers?
Sunday, 12/19/21
So MVS is active after all-good!
ESB’s brother scored a TD for the Lions, and they’re whipping the Redbirds-that’s good, too!
8:53 pm Pacific
It’s a good thing MVS played. 31-30 Packers.
Redbirds lost, so Packers are now one full game up on them. The Saints also shoutout Tampa Bay, so Green Bay is a full game up on them, too.
John Hardball almost gave me a panic attack when he went for 2 at the end of the game. I guess he was either super-confident they could get it, or not at all confident they could win in OT.
Packers have won the NFC North, and have the best record not just in the NFC, but in the NFL.
