I am taking at least a hiatus from posting the serialized chapters of the first volume in the Warble McGorkle trilogy, the Wacky Misadventures of Warble McGorkle.
Having recently finished the 20-years-in-the-writing Warble McGorkle trilogy, I am about to embark on a spinoff series revolving around Albert's Labrador Retriever, Taterskin. It will feature the dog and many of his friends as they take journeys in a newly designed time travel flying machine. Accompanying Taterskin will be his human friend Albert as well as various mammals and reptiles, including a Bengal Tiger, an Elephant, an Orange Tabby, a Koala Bear, a Bearded Dragon and eventually a Duckbilled Platypus, a Rhinoceros, and a Pterodactyl, among others.
Taterskin has been around since the second volume in the series, the Zany Time Travels of Warble McGorkle, but most of the other animals first appeared in Warble McGorkle's Delusional Visions of History—in fact all all of those mentioned except the ones who have not appeared yet. These will make their debut in the first volume of the "Taterskin and His Friends" series.
In the meantime, those interested can read the paperback or print versions of the individual volumes of the trilogy, alternatively the "Omnibus" (anthology), which incorporates all three books in one volume. The links to these books are:

To keep in practice with my Mark Twain Missouri/Kentucky accent, I will be posting recordings of myself reading Twain works on YouTube; the next one I will record is his final book, "Captain Stormfield's Visit to Heaven." You can listen to these chapters as they are published by subscribing to my YouTube channel.
