These images represent a band whose heydecades were the 1960s and 1970s. If you are familiar with them, it will soon be pretty obvious who it is.

A hint (as if you need one after those last two images): they’re from El Cerrito, California, not from the American South, as many of their songs (especially “Born on the Bayou” and “Proud Mary”) might lead you to believe.
