In Postcards from Ducky the Platypus & His 50 Cousins, Ducky and his cousins paddle from Australia to the United States and send back dispatches from America to their grandmother Matilda. Each of them travels to a different State, and one of them even reports back from Washington, DC. The insightful comments each has from his or her location reveals their love for their grandmother, who always wanted to visit the U.S. and is now doing so vicariously through her 51 grandchildren.
