Thursday morning football?!? Or I guess it could be called Turducken Morning Football.
If I were an impassionate, disinterested observer, with no taste for virtual bravado, I would predict a Lyin’s victory, but I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that the Packers prevail this week over a team that is superior to them this year; even the mighty can fall to lesser opponents at times — and do so fairly regularly, in fact. So I’m going with Packers 24-20:
UPDATE SUNDAY 11/23/2023
Now this is more like it. My prediction was pretty close (it ended 29-22 Packers instead of 24-20 Packers) and more importantly, the Packers got the win and pretty much out-everythinged the Lyin’s: outplayed them on offense and defense, out-coached them, and out-energized the Motor City cats, too.
Although they still have a losing record (5-6), the Packers have outscored their opponents 231-224 (an average score of 21-20).
And they won this game even though a million cats were out with injuries. Rashan Gary Indiana had a monster game, and the whole team played “lights, camera, action ON!”
