CHAPTER 7
The next thing to do was to approach Albert with our request. He was enjoying life so much in 2525 Zenia, though, that I wasn’t sure he would be willing to spend the time it would take to construct another time & space vehicle, let alone accompany us all over the globe even if he did.
After all, Albert was busy with his orchard, growing fruits and nuts, as well as hiking in the forest and mountains around us, and simply enjoying life in general.
But I had worried for no reason. When I told Albert about what we animals wanted to do, he was “on board” with it right away. What I mean by that is, he was willing to build another Arodnap (although he said it would need a new name, as that name was a negative one), and even be on board literally when we left on our great journey.
Albert also said that he wanted to see Jacques in Australia and Mullah in India, so all of us had people (human or animal) that we wanted to see. That is, all but Stripes and Marmalade. But Stripes wanted to come along because he enjoyed flying and seeing new places, and out of a warm desire to see Warble jump out of his skin again when he roared at him. Humans had taken animals out of their skin so often in the past that he enjoyed the thought of “returning the favor” and making certain humans jump out of their skin.
And everywhere that Stripes went, Marmalade was sure to go, so it was settled: We would all travel together as soon as the ‘New Arodnap’ was built.
The next question was: What should the name of our new time & space travel vehicle be? We all began to mull it over, in the back of our minds. It was not an emergency, or a life-and-death matter, but we all wanted to come up with an appropriate and fitting name by which to identify our means of space & time exploration.
