Last week’s riff was “In the Midnight Hour” by Wilson (not Tom Hanks' volleyball) Pickett
NOTE: This will be the last post in the “Name That Tune / Bass Riff” series, at least the last predictable, every-Thursday one. I may still post a bass riff now and then, possibly of ones I come up with on my own while improvising (goofing around), or riffs based on or inspired by others that I have “made my own” by adding my own nuances and quirkinesses. These I might just call “Bass Riff #[N]”
Since this riff is the last of its breed (warts and all), I’ll tell you now that it is Lady Marmalade by Labelle
So, the serialization of my biography-masquerading-as-an-autobiography Rebel With a Cause: Mark Twain’s Hidden Memoirs was recently completed, this series will become moribund as of now, and Mark Twain: Bible Scholar will run its course in about 8-9 months (by late 2024).
What will I post other than those soon-to-become-extinct things ? I will continue to post weekly (Tuesdays) the “Greatest AI Images,” as well as daily AI images of countries of the world for several months (starting very soon), and after that, I may post AI images from California Parks, then National Parks of the USA, then Parks from around the world, then … who knows? To quote Napoleon Dynamite, “Whatever I feel like … gosh!”
