As I warned everyone a few days back, there was a deluge of posts here for several days, but it is now finally over. I “had to” do that so that I would have links to all the countries to add to my book Glimpse the World: A Whirlwind Tour of and Lightning Reference to 200+ Nations, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe
Despite the warning, I lost a few subscribers during these last few days. Oh, well. As Kurt Vonnegut would say, “And so it goes.”
So the updated versions of that book (hardcover, paperback, and Kindle) are now available on amazon.com. The Kindle version is now much better than the previous one, as it is in the recommended KPF format rather than PDF, which caused entries to spill over onto multiple pages instead of all remaining on one page (as it does now).
So what’s next here on “Rambling Notes of a Geezer”? Things will slow down quite a bit as far as posts from me go, only two or three per week, with the following schedule:
Sundays — Sundays with Mark Twain (scheduled to be completed at the end of 2024)
Tuesdays — AI’s Greatest Images (random/various subjects; may also come to an end or become less frequent at some time in the future)
Occasional — A Bass Guitar post that will help with ear training and creativity (coming up with bass lines/riffs) based on an app that I’m going to write. Stay “tuned” (no pun intended) for that.
