I've been substacking for quite some time, I guess — although I “only” post an average of 3-4 times a week (Sundays with Mark Twain, A chapter of my Twain biography-masquerading-as-an-autobiography Rebel With A Cause every Tuesday, and a bass riff every Thursday, plus an occasional post on whatever other topic pops into my head), I have amassed over 1,000 posts (and counting).
So, I guess it's time for a “Top 10” list (not necessarily my favorites, but the most popular with the people, the crowd, the mass, IOW y’all) and so, without further ado or adon't, here they are:
1) Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” Now Available for Free in an English/IPA Version
2) Taterskin Now Available in IPA
3) More Than All the Money in the World
4) English/IPA Book Now Available on Amazon
5) WE DON'T LIKE THE COLORS OF YOUR FUR, WHACK BLITE!
7) Now I Know Why I've Always Liked Tartans and Bagpipes
9) One Perfect Thing ... Three Perfect Things?
10) “A Dog’s Tale” (1903), Part 3 (Last)
I don't see much of a pattern in which posts become popular. Surprisingly, three of the top ten (and, in fact, three of the top four) are about books available in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet); two are about Mark Twain's works (#1 and #10); and two are about my two most recent novels (#2 and #4). Otherwise, it's “all over the map.”
Not long ago, many of the top posts were about the Calloway Family, but they have fallen down to 14th and lower (but several are in the top 25); so the Calloways are still probably my most popular “series,” although none of them are in the top 13.
